This award was created in 2017 to recognize top Alberta post-secondary students who are graduating with a Bachelor of Education Degree. These students demonstrate innovation in teaching and passion to lead their students in a lifelong discovery of history and heritage. Since 2022, each of the three finalists per institution are also granted a monetary award. Based on presentations created for a judging panel, one recipient receives a prestigious crystal owl award, representing knowledge and positive change in the world. Congratulations to each of the Award Recipients thus far. The Foundation looks forward to continuing to present the awards annually.
